Procedure

All of the web projects we undertake follow the procedure outlined below. Each job is reviewed and documented at each stage throughout this procedure. The whole process is recorded in the university call management system.

  1. Defining the Project
    • Gather information
    • Determine overall project goals
  2. Developing Site Structure
    • Address/ outline content
    • Sitemapping/ site organisation
    • Address navigation/ user tastes
  3. Visual Design and Testing
    • Review site goals
    • Create staging site/ test functionality
    • Create graphic templates
  4. Production and Quality Assurance
    • Image slicing and optimisation
    • Create HTML templates
    • Populate pages
    • Conduct quality assurance testing/ fix bugs
  5. Site launch
    • Register with search engines
    • Develop maintenance plan
