The Centre continues to welcome overseas scholars who are undertaking
research into all aspect of Bibliography or the History of the Book.
The David Laing Fellowship was established to encourage the scholarly
use of libraries in Edinburgh, in particular the Special Collections of
Edinburgh University Library. The Fellowship, which is held in
association with the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities
and Edinburgh University Library, provides the annual recipient with a
stipend of £1000 and office accommodation.
